Ssense Sun Armour is the flagship product of Ssense Skin Care product suite. Premium natural ingredients are carefully sourced and mixed for a wonderful even consistency that provides a smooth and strong cover. We use a combination of Kokum butter, Mango butter, and Non-Nano Zinc oxide as our main active ingredients to protect your skin from the UV damaging ray. Evolution of Sun Armour:

I was challenged to find a perfect sunscreen cream which would work the best in all climates- tropical and dry. At the same time the various chemical or mineral sunscreens that I would try caused reactions on my skin such as pimples, irritation in eyes and on skin. Stopping sunscreen application was not an option due to many studies that proves the harmful effects of UV rays on our skin.

I was not sure as to what I should be doing next? I shared this story of mine to one of my friends and she said “Why don’t you prepare your own cream as you have enough knowledge on skin care?” This was the starting point. I spent months doing research and looking at formulations of other products. I did research on different ingredients and started preparing creams in small batches for my personal use. To provide natural UV protection using non-nano Zinc oxide was essential as, rather than soaking in, like chemical sunscreens do, Zinc Oxide sits on top of your skin and protects you by scattering, absorbing, and reflecting the UV rays. Finally, I was able to reach that Golden Formula where I was happy with the ingredients that I utilized and the results of the product on my skin. I started giving samples to my friends and family members for testing and to have their reviews. I continued testing for almost a year and after taking suggestions from my friends and family members based on their reviews, the product was enhanced and now it is ready to get tagged as Ssense Sun Armour.
